3️⃣ Roll & Fill the Dough
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch (2mm) thickness.
- Cut into 2-inch (5 cm) squares.
- Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each square.
- Fold into triangles or rectangles, pressing the edges firmly with a fork to seal.
4️⃣ Cook the Dumplings
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Drop in the dumplings and cook until they float to the surface (about 3-4 minutes).
- Remove with a slotted spoon and let them drain.
5️⃣ Toast the Breadcrumbs
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the breadcrumbs and toast until golden brown.
- Toss the cooked dumplings in the buttered breadcrumbs.
6️⃣ Serve & Enjoy!
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve with sour cream for a creamy contrast.
