
Honey Garlic Shrimp
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Sauce
- ⅓ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or rice vinegar
Instructions
- Season shrimp lightly with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat in sauce. Cook 1 minute more.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
