🍗 Chicken and Potatoes with Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs
  • 4 medium potatoes, cut into cubes or slices
  • 3 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or cooking cream)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: parsley or thyme

🍳 Instructions

  1. Season & brown
    Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
    Heat oil in a large pan and brown chicken on both sides (5–6 min). Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook potatoes
    In the same pan, add potatoes with a little oil, salt, and pepper.
    Cook 8–10 minutes until lightly golden and tender.
  3. Make the sauce
    Add garlic to the pan, sauté 30 seconds.
    Pour in cream, add garlic powder, pepper, and Parmesan.
    Simmer gently until sauce thickens.
  4. Combine
    Return chicken to pan, spoon sauce over.
    Cover and simmer 10–15 minutes until chicken is cooked and potatoes are soft.
  5. Finish
    Sprinkle parsley and serve hot 💛
