Ingredients
Chicken
- 500 g chicken breast or thighs, bite-size
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup cornstarch
- Oil for frying
Honey Garlic Sauce
- ⅓ cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
🔥 Instructions
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder.
- Dip chicken in egg, then coat well with cornstarch.
- Fry in hot oil until golden & crispy. Drain.
- In a pan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, vinegar.
- Bring to a simmer, add cornstarch slurry, stir until thick.
- Toss crispy chicken in sauce just before serving.
