Instructions

1. Prepare the eggs

Separate the egg whites and yolks into two different bowls.

2. Mix yolks

Add the cream cheese to the yolks and mix until smooth and creamy.

3. Whip egg whites

Add salt and baking powder to the egg whites. Beat until stiff peaks form. This step is important for a fluffy texture.

4. Combine

Gently fold the egg whites into the yolk mixture. Do not overmix to keep the air in the batter.

5. Bake

Pour the mixture into a small loaf pan or shape it into buns.
Bake at 160°C (320°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden.


Tips

  • For a more bread-like texture, add 1 tablespoon psyllium husk
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing
  • Brush with butter after baking for better flavor
  • Works well for sandwiches or toast
