Honey Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

Sauce

  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat in sauce. Cook 1 minute more.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
