Ingredients
Chicken
- 2 large chicken breasts, sliced in half lengthwise
- Salt & black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest of 1 lemon
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Creamy Parmesan Pasta
- 10 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or linguine)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain. - Cook chicken
Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Remove and set aside. - Make lemon garlic butter sauce
In the same skillet, add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, chicken broth, cream, and butter.
Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened. - Creamy Parmesan pasta
In another pan, melt butter and sauté garlic 30 seconds.
Add cream and simmer gently.
Stir in Parmesan until smooth.
Add pasta, splash of pasta water if needed. Season to taste. - Finish chicken
Return chicken to the lemon sauce, spoon sauce over it.
Simmer 2 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley. - Serve
Plate pasta first, top with chicken, drizzle extra lemon butter sauce.
