
Ingredients – Chicken:
- 500 g chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Ingredients – Pasta:
- 300 g pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat butter and oil in a pan; cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic, sauté briefly.
- Add lemon juice and zest; simmer 1 minute.
- Add cream and butter; cook gently until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan until smooth.
- Add pasta and a little pasta water if needed.
- Return chicken to pan, toss to coat.
- Adjust seasoning and serve hot.
