Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Pasta – Recipe Only

Ingredients – Chicken:

  • 500 g chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Ingredients – Pasta:

  • 300 g pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat butter and oil in a pan; cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add garlic, sauté briefly.
  5. Add lemon juice and zest; simmer 1 minute.
  6. Add cream and butter; cook gently until slightly thickened.
  7. Stir in Parmesan until smooth.
  8. Add pasta and a little pasta water if needed.
  9. Return chicken to pan, toss to coat.
  10. Adjust seasoning and serve hot.
