Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 4 chicken breasts or thighs
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 8 oz (225 g) egg noodles
- 2 tbsp butter
- Optional: chopped parsley or Parmesan
Instructions
- Brown the chicken:
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Brown on both sides, then remove and set aside. - Cook the noodles:
In the same pan, add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Stir in egg noodles. - Finish cooking:
Return chicken to the pan. Cover and simmer 12β15 minutes, until noodles are tender and chicken is cooked through. - Butter & serve:
Stir in butter until noodles are glossy and tender.
Garnish with parsley or Parmesan if desired.
Tips
- Add peas or spinach in the last 2 minutes for veggies.
- Use rotisserie chicken to save even more time.
