Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 8 oz (225 g) egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Optional: chopped parsley or Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Brown the chicken:
    Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
    Brown on both sides, then remove and set aside.
  2. Cook the noodles:
    In the same pan, add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
    Stir in egg noodles.
  3. Finish cooking:
    Return chicken to the pan. Cover and simmer 12–15 minutes, until noodles are tender and chicken is cooked through.
  4. Butter & serve:
    Stir in butter until noodles are glossy and tender.
    Garnish with parsley or Parmesan if desired.
