Philly Cheesesteak Don’t Lose This RECIPE

Philly Cheesesteak (Classic & Juicy)

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450 g) ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced (optional)
  • 8 slices provolone cheese (or Cheese Whiz)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt & black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prep steak:
Slice ribeye very thin (freeze 20–30 minutes first to make slicing easier).
  2. Cook veggies:
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet. Sauté onions (and peppers if using) until soft and lightly caramelized. Remove from pan.
  3. Cook steak:
Add remaining oil. Spread steak in pan, season with salt and pepper. Cook 2–3 minutes, chopping and turning until just cooked.
  4. Combine:
Return onions to pan and mix with steak.
  5. Add cheese:
Divide meat into 4 portions in the pan. Lay cheese slices on top and let melt.
  6. Assemble:
Toast hoagie rolls lightly. Scoop cheesy steak mixture into rolls.

Serve hot and enjoy the ultimate comfort sandwich.
