Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) tomato sauce
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella or cheddar
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet. Add onion and garlic; cook 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in paprika, salt, pepper, oregano, and tomato sauce. Simmer 5 minutes. Cool slightly.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into equal squares.
- Spoon beef mixture into the center of each square. Top with cheese.
- Fold slightly or leave open-faced. Brush edges with beaten egg.
- Bake 18–22 minutes until golden and puffed.
