Slow-Roasted Caramelized Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 3–4 sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp cinnamon or paprika (optional)
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Toss sweet potatoes with oil, honey, salt, pepper, and spices.
  3. Spread in a baking dish in one layer.
  4. Cover with foil and bake 35 minutes.
  5. Uncover and roast 20–25 minutes until caramelized and tender.
