Sticky Honey Garlic Ribs

These ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender with a sweet, garlicky glaze that gets beautifully sticky in the oven. Perfect for family dinner or weekend comfort food!

📝 Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: pinch of chili flakes for heat

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).

2️⃣ Prepare ribs
Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs (for extra tenderness). Pat dry with paper towels.

3️⃣ Season
Mix paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub evenly over both sides of the ribs.

4️⃣ Bake covered
Place ribs on a baking tray lined with foil. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1½ to 2 hours until tender.

5️⃣ Make the glaze
In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ketchup, and vinegar.
Simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.

6️⃣ Glaze & caramelize
Remove ribs from oven. Brush generously with glaze.
Increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes until sticky and caramelized.
(Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes for extra char.)

7️⃣ Serve
Let rest 5 minutes, slice, and spoon extra glaze on top.
